The Name That Will Be Known!

Explanation: This is my team logo. Our business name is called Royal Hair Accessories. We thought about how it's for girls and how loyal they are. I thought that the crown would represent the word Royal. (We might add colours).

A Moment To Remember

Having important and fun things take time in life, so I would recommend everyone using their time wisely and accurately.

Okay! Usually my mother works all the time (non-stop) she pushes herself to the limit. But, there ia always a time where she has to have a break. Now adults generally eat and sleep when they arrive home from work. I have been pleading my mother to go somewhere for fun. Apparently she had the same idea and agreed with me.

As we arrived at the mall in Botany, my mother and I found a Mexican Restaurant and started eating breakfast there. It wasn’t tremendous but a disaster! When other customers walked in, I always felt the cold breeze coming through the door following each customer. The only thing that was more promising was the delicious….tasty….mouthwatering….burrito that I had!

Later on my mother took me for a glance around the mall to buy some jewellery (for herself). I was concerned that she was using money for things that doesn’t have any definition (in other words; no meaning).

On to the next part, my mother and I watched a movie at Sylvia. I had no clue why my mother drove me to Sylvia Park to watch one movie, rather than watching a movie at Botany. Two and ½  hours later the movie finished, it was very unusual but yet amusing.

It was a fascinating day for Monday! It felt like that one moment meant the only moment I would need. It was amazing to hang out with my beautiful mother on that day.

Eagles Must Live!!!!

Eagles:

An eagle is a type of bird that can fly. They have been around the planet for more than two-hundred years, they would be mostly found it high places or somewhere with alot of nature, such as high rocks, trees and much more. There are sixty types of eagles, some of the eagles population had gone low because of death.

Eagles are birds that come way back in time, and when I mean back in time I mean it. Legends say that their was an egyptian God called Ra he was the God of the sun that had a head of an eagle. But in our days we only have one God named God.

People say that some eagles are dangerous and they could be endangered, but there are other people who disagree. Any type of eagle living anywhere besides the zoo can live from 30-45 years. But eagles living in the zoo are lucky because they can live for five more years (30-50yr). So If I were an eagle then I’ll think it was a very positive opportunity to live in a zoo, and also not to have the worry of being hunted by people.

Thank You

We have been learning to write letters. This is my letter of thanks to two ladies who opened the Panmure Fencible cottage for us to explore and develop further understanding about the Fencibles of Panmure.

Room 8
St Patrick’s School
5 Church Crescent
Panmure

Dear Angela and Josephine,

I would like to say thank you very much for letting us go into the old “cottage”. First of all, thank you Angela for telling me information about the old things in the front room and in the bedroom. And thank you Josephine for showing me how the vacuum cleaner worked.  It was fascinating.

It was my first time in the cottage, I found it really interesting. The visit made me aware of how the Fencibles felt when they lived in the cottage. I would find the house very different to the one I live in today, perhaps it may not even be as comfortable.

The cottage had some good things, but their were also some bad things. For example the lack of a bathroom specifically a flushing indoor toilet! This is something that I can only imagine.  I have always thought that using a ‘pottie’ was something only toddlers or small children used while they were being toilet trained.

It was interesting that  the outside appearance of the cottage made me think that not many things could fit inside it, however I was amazed when I stepped into the cottage, just how much room there was inside.

Thank you,
From Kryzjon

All About The Stone Cottage

Recently we were lucky enough to visit the Fencible Stone Cottage in Panmure.  This was a great opportunity as we have been learning about the Fencibles as part of our history as students from Saint Patrick's School.
The PMI chart is one way of recorded and key ideas.  These were mine.
Plus:  What are some of the   good things living in the cottage?
Minus: What
are the bad things living in the cottage?
Interesting: What
was interesting in the cottage?
  • There were two rooms, to sleep in
  • It can last for a period of time
  • People can stay in the cottage
  • The bed is big enough for 2-3 people to sleep in
  • There was no bathrooms
  • The stairs were too far a part
  • Maybe more than 20 people couldn’t walk everywhere at once.
  • Need a real kitchen to cook in

  • A flute being played many years ago is still sitting there
  • An old big bible was in the front room
  • How the old fashion vacuum works
  • There were history about the men in the army

The Ways Of Feelings

Every person on the earth has different ways express their feelings, such as using their manners and emotions.

Happy:
Usually when people show happiness, they perform a smile with their face. Having fun is the most best thing to make someone happy, even if they're sad, angry, upset or any other feelings that makes someone “Down”.

Angry:
Angry. Being or getting Angry is one of the worst feeling of all. Because if someone is angry, that means anything could happen such as arguments, fights or even death. Sometimes you can tell who’s angry, by their body language, actions or even negative attitudes and words.

Upset:
Making someone upset is very emotional, just like using love. Since the birth of human beings, people get upset by bullies who treat them like weaklings, or when someone special who have passed away or being kidnapped. And when people get upset they don’t need to show their loving special tears.

Scared:
Honestly, when someone gets scared it makes them very nervous to go sleep. Because usually everyone gets scared at night time, if they're watching a horrifying movie or thinking about something scary. But it’s not only night time people get scared, some people get scared in daytime. Sometimes because of dangerous people.

So, there are lots of ways to express feelings. And some people express their feeling by contact, actions or words. Information about Subject:
